Glenn’s Dad, Tom, helps from time to time. Tom is a boilermaker by trade, and did his apprenticeship building ships for Evans Deakin in Brisbane. At 75, he is still going strong. Tom has fulfilled the role of technical consultant for the hull fabrication, ensuring that all the work is structurally sound and finished to an above average standard.
