Sailing Songa

Available for iPhone, iPad and Mac, Where We Go is a map based log book for documenting your cruise. Useful for both land and water travels, this app records where you’ve been along with other important events along the way. It can be used simply as a travel diary, or as a more formal record, such as a ship’s log book on private craft.

The main interface taps into Apple Maps, allowing you to place markers on the map whenever an event occurs that you want to record. It also shows the route you travel between stops.

The map to the right shows the route we took from Melbourne to Pittwater. At this zoom level, many of the markers are grouped together to stop the map from becoming cluttered. The numbers show how many markers are in the group, while the color of the ring indicates the type of events in the group.
