The Pilot House

Here are some photos of Yamoya’s pilot house. Glenn’s Mum & Dad came to stay for a couple of weeks and Dad helped with the very laborious task of fitting the hull lining in this part of the boat. Since then I’ve started building the steering station and fitting the glass work which can be seen in the photos. I thought the steel had been welded reasonably straight, but when the perfectly flat glass is put against it I soon realised just how much variation there is. Still a fair bit of work to go here, but we think it’s starting to look good.

Clicking on a photo will give a bit more info about that photo.
