The Hull is Finished

Well, we’re done with the steel work. The hull is as finished as it’s going to be, and tomorrow it leaves the factory for the blaster’s yard. Over the next week all the steel will be grit blasted and re-primed. Most of the steel has already been blasted and shop-primed, and it’s only just the welds that are dirty. However, for the sake of longevity of the steel in a marine environment we’ve decided to completely reblast and reprime.
