Aft Cabin & Side-decks Finished!

For most of February and March I’ve been resizing the side decks beside the aft cabin. And I’ve finished! Hooray!

In January when Dad and I were deciding on the positions of the deck cleats (for tieing-off dock lines) we discovered that the aft side decks were too narrow for handling the lines when docking and undocking. The solution was to widen the side decks by making the back of the aft cabin narrower. This involved a fair amount of cutting, welding and grinding. Many thanks to Dad for providing advice on the best and easiest way to do this.
